We offer a fun and rewarding experience, developing the sporting and leadership talents of our young people and making a real difference in our communities.
Our high-quality basketball development is led by qualified and experienced coaches in a supportive and progressive environment. We offer basketball for children aged 5 and up, and we’re proud of the achievements of our players, coaches, and volunteers who work hard every week to support and further the Club.
We’re a registered charity (SC045199) based at Portobello, Holyrood and Castlebrae High Schools and Edinburgh College Granton Campus, run by a dedicated volunteer committee, volunteer members and coaches.
Vision & Values

Values
We aim to provide a welcoming environment where children and young people can develop valuable life skills like forming positive relationships, teamwork, communication, and a strong work ethic. We encourage more young people to take part in basketball, realising these benefits through being part of a team, learning new skills, and improving their emotional and physical wellbeing.
We strive to create a fun, inclusive environment that feels like a family, where we support and encourage each other to be the best we can be. Our values emphasise:
Teamwork
Respect
Accountability
Integrity
Tenacity
We focus on attracting, developing, and retaining volunteers who lead by example and deliver high-quality basketball tailored to age and stage. We offer opportunities for Club members to develop skills in coaching, table officiating, and refereeing through training, qualifications, and mentoring.
