During his tenure on the male side of the Club he was also Head Coach of the Scotland U16 and U18 teams for 9 years including winning the U18 Men’s Euro C Tournament in 2008 and most wins and highest finish at Euro B.
Later into his career, Doug switched to the female side of the Club, and success continued winning multiple Scottish Cups and titles with both the U16 and U18 Kats teams.
Doug was also instrumental in the development of so many of the Club’s younger coaches throughout his years and made an incredible impact on 100s of people’s lives through his coaching, advice and friendship over his two decades of service with the Club.
