Danny’s first started coaching within the Club in 1993, leading our Junior Women’s teams to back-to-back undefeated seasons with National League and Scottish Cup doubles. Danny then went on to coach both our Cadet and Junior Men’s teams, again winning National League titles and Scottish cups at each level.
Danny became the head coach of our Senior Men’s team in 1999, winning our first trophy at that level with the 2001 Scottish Cup. Danny would go on to coach our Men’s team for the next decade where they dominated – winning 7 National League titles and a further 5 Scottish Cups. He also won the inaugural Playoff Championship in 2011, completing a historic Scottish basketball treble that season.
Throughout his time at the Club, Danny was involved in mentoring so many players and coaches and was instrumental in setting up Sunday Hoops which provided our Club organised sessions for primary age kids.
