Finny Paterson

Finny was a founding member of our Local League women’s team “the Granny Kats” and went on to be part of the coaching team alongside her sister Elaine for many years right up until the league stopped before the pandemic.

She was also part of our under 14 girls coaching team for a number of years. As a player and coach, she was a woman of few words but when she did speak players listened. The impact she had on Granny Kats players was incredible, both as players and more importantly as people.

Sadly Finny passed away last year, aged 55, after battling a brain tumour.
